TCIT news in August 2011

In August 2011, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd has achieved net productivity approximately 100 moves/hour. This is a remarkable figure during 8 months of starting operation. Total of throughput was over 24,000 Teus, in which export makes up 57%, and import makes up 43%. Total of vessels calling TCIT was 71 units, in which mother vessel was 16 units, and feeder was 55 units. In comparison with July, total of mother vessels grew up to 11%. With all above figures, TCIT has achieved a highest record of net productivity and throughput in Cai Mep area. Like this, TCIT is well proving its operation efficiency and stability.

TCIT news in September 2011

Up to September 2011, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) has officially received 5 services deploying to East- West America and Europe inclusive of SJX, PSX, JEX, AW5 and AW4. Therefore, the throughput of TCIT this month has been grown fairly strong; namely the volume of in & outbound cargoes increased 55.45% against its of August. The achievement volume was over 37,000 teus, in which inbound cargoes made up 49,75 % and outbound ones were 50,25%.

TCIT news in October 2011

In October 2011, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd has reached the throughput of over 31,000 TEUs in an effort to fulfill the targets. Our net productivity is still at high and stable level of 99,77 moves/hour since last August. Moreover TCIT achieved the highest record of 126,1 moves/hour on October 08th 2011 when handling the MOL MORDERN 004W/E.

TCIT news in November 2011

On 22 November 2011 Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd (TCIT) broke the record of net productivity at 133,69moves/hour when handling the MOL PARTNER V.064B. With this new record, TCIT has proved our operational efficiency within 11 months of starting operation.

184 moves/hour - A broken record of handling vessel by TCIT February 02nd, 2012

Over 184 moves/hour of net productivity were the remarkable numbers attained by Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) as operating the MOL PROMISE 067W – 068E which was berthed on February 02nd, 2012. This record not only helped Mitsui O.S.K Lines in saving a part of fuel costs for vessel operations but also aided TCIT to affirm its position and top quality services in Cai Mep - Thi Vai.

190 moves/hour - A new record of net productivity in Vietnam

Since the first vessel called to TCIT in January 2011, it has continued to improve its operational efficiency day by day. It was in early October last year for TCIT to beat the old record of 120 moves/hour by 126moves/hour. After that, TCIT has surpassed it by 134 moves/hour in November, 145 moves/hour in this January and jumped to 190 moves/hour just four weeks after the previous one.
