Founded on September 4, 2009, with the aspiration to become the gateway connecting Vietnam to the world, Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) has grown from a promising joint venture between Saigon Newport Corporation (TCSG) – the largest port operator in Vietnam – and three leading global shipping lines: Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (Japan), Hanjin Shipping (South Korea), and Wanhai Lines (Taiwan).

Today, TCIT has rapidly established itself as the largest deep-water port in Vietnam, capable of accommodating the world's largest container vessels.
